National Association of Nchumurus has delivered essential relief items to victims of recent conflict in Beposo and Wunrenja. They are one of the prominent villages within the Krachi Nchumuru District, they’re among the communities currently working toward recovery and stability.”
BEPOSO – In a swift response to the humanitarian needs arising from recent tensions, the National Association of Nchumurus has stepped forward to provide essential relief to the people of Beposo and Wunrenja.
The initiative, led by the Association’s President, Mr. Abraham Amoah, underscores the group’s commitment to the welfare of its members and the restoration of stability in the region.
Speaking during the presentation of the items, Mr. Abraham Amoah emphasized that the donation was more than just a material contribution; it was a symbol of kinship and shared responsibility.
“We cannot sit unconcerned while our brothers and sisters in Beposo and Wunrenja face such hardships,” Mr. Amoah stated. “Our goal today is to provide immediate comfort and to let the affected families know they are not alone during this difficult time.”
The Association mobilized a variety of essential supplies designed to address the immediate needs of displaced persons and vulnerable households. The items included:
Food Staples: 6 bags pure water, 2box of drinks, 1 box of bottle water, 1 box of biscuits and 400Gh Cedi
Beyond the donation, Mr. Amoah used the platform to advocate for a peaceful resolution to the underlying issues. He urged local leaders and the youth to embrace dialogue, peace is the best way to make every community development.
After that, he moved to Wunrenja to donate the same food items to them and added 300Gh Cedi. He advised them more over what happened and encouraged them that all the leaders are going to step in to make sure the truth will be out for peace and unity to lead.
The chiefs and residents of Beposo and Wunrenja expressed profound gratitude to the National Association of Nchumurus, noting that the intervention came at a critical moment when local resources were stretched thin.
